International travel to Rotorua via Auckland

International airlines fly into Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington. There are domestic flights from all of these cities to Rotorua, but Auckland is the closest. Travelling from Auckland to Rotorua is a short 40-min flight with Air New Zealand or a 3-hour drive.

There is an InterCity bus service: Intercity.co.nz. If you’re travelling as a group, you can book a private shuttle service to/fro the airport.

The conference venue is within easy walking distance of central Rotorua including restaurants and shops. For other forms of transport around Rotorua, including Rotorua airport, there are several options:
